Cancel Your Contract With Calendly

Calendly is a well-known software company that is also famous for its digital calendar scheduling tool that allows users to be more productive and accomplish more by reducing the efforts taken to connect with others. In essence, Calendly assists you in scheduling meetings by eliminating the back and forth sending of emails.

Calendly, unlike other scheduling tools, offers its users advanced calendar functionality. This allows users to integrate this scheduling tool into a number of various applications. Some of the applications include GoToMeeting, which allows you to add the details of your GoToMeeting into your Calendly and PayPal, which allows you to accept payments through PayPal at an event.

Despite the convenience that Calendly offers, it is pretty normal for a user to cancel a subscription for one reason or another.

How to cancel your subscription with Calendly

Before cancelling your subscription, it is important to note that the subscription for all paid accounts are automatically renewed for the plan you had chosen unless you cancel it before the end of the current subscription period. There are two methods of cancelling your subscription with Calendly. One involves cancelling your paid subscription, while the other involves Deleting your subscription entirely.

If you choose to cancel your paid subscription at the end of the current subscription period, you will still be able to use Calendly, only that you will be downgraded from your current plan to the free basic plan. This means you will no longer be charged to use Calendly, but you can still continue scheduling. You will, however, be reduced to one calendar and only one event type.

To downgrade to a basic subscription, you first need to select Account, which can be found on the top of any Calendly page. Secondly, you have to select the Billing followed by Change your plan. Finally, you have to select Downgrade and choose the basic plan.

By choosing to Delete your account, you will no longer be charged to use Calendly, and all your information will be deleted permanently.

To delete your account, you simply have to scroll to the top of any Calendly page, press Account then scroll to Account settings. Finally, on the bottom right of the page, select Delete Account.
